The site is located on Benfield Road, immediately adjacent to Walkergate Metro Station.
To the rear is the Benfield Road Industrial Estate and to the north is the former Walkergate Hospital Site, which has planning consent for 72 residential units.
Approximately ¼ mile to the north is the Coast Road (A1058), providing access to the A19 to the east and A167 (and A1 beyond) to the west.
Former NEP site and Working Mens Social Club. All buildings were demolished around 2012.
